Some Questions for Thought

Questions
Is it virtuous (outside of monogyny-only docture) to protect the "idea" of wife, by having only one? Are there advantages to monogamy? Are there advantages to polygamy? Is it virtuous to remain mongynous because it is what my wife "wants". Could some men, be fundamentally designed with a polygynous type nature? Is subjecting my desires to a monogynous marriage, even though I literally desire something different, virtuous? Is it virtuous / wrong to desire mongamy at the denial of polygyny for a spouse? As a man, is fundamentally desiring more than one woman as a mate inherently sinful? As a woman, do I biblically have a right to demand or desire monogyny from my husband? As a man, do I biblically have the right to demand or desire polygyny as a pursuit? Should culture have a say on the subject?
