Environmental Conditions

An all-to-common situation for single Christian women. These women are... 1) Approaching middle-age unmarried. 2) Wanting Children and to establish their own families. 3) Biologically running out of time. (and faster than the men - if this is a war of attrition men are biologically wired to win) Generally this hurts to see for anyone that wants these women to get what they are looking for. Especially since God intended for marriage to be attainable to any woman that would want it regardless of the number of single men in the Church. The solution is right there at our fingertips - in the word written - pretty clearly. The anti-arguments rely on tricky interpretations of single words in specific places coupled with unconvincing universal interpretations of these few spots. A more through-rough review of scripture makes dismissing the false interpretations relatively easy. Yet there is major dilemma - a little leaven that has taken the loaf These women believe... 1) That marriage is a government certificate. 2) That marriage should be monogamous. (currently reinforced by #1) They are trapped by circumstance: women (who are generally more socially aware and sensitive) don't want to even consider the implications of these truths because it is so socially unacceptable. Both the Christians, and the secular world, generally reinforce this worldview, and if they do decide they might believe differently (how could they not if they read the whole bible daily?) they risk serious social chastisement and persecution. I'm here, and I'm willing to at least give this a shot - but it seems really unlikely to find someone that would fit in a more conservatively religious way. There seems to be an exceptionally strong correlation between "Christian" and "God intended marriage to be monogamous" that undermines an environment where this is at least likely for a man and his first wife wanting to give it a shot. Only God can fully sort through and understand the consequences of this miscalculations on a social level, but I suspect its much larger then we want to admit. So the sad reality is: many of these women wont find husbands and will grow old childless. Yet I know there is definitely a God intended world where there was a way for them to have marriage, children, and family. I really do hope God will use me to help fix this: in spite of the challenges this is such an important social issue that I would love to be involved.
