Listen Closely

They'd like to find someone that listens, someone with an ear to hear.... Instead they find a world full of hollow advice, ever willing to perscribe a solution to their fear. And all they he ever needed, was someone who listens, someone with an ear to hear... but prior to diagnosis, we jump to conclusions and in our answer we fail to lend an ear. Faith is an action, twas never just a word Its lived out by those who listen By those with ears who have heard All they ever needed, was someone who listens, someone with an ear to hear... All that ever came this way, through knowledge went astray. For an ounce of truth we were given, and from it a ton of pride derived, so that then we failed to listen, and hear the needed crys. There is someone who listens, that spirit lives withen, Given by the Holy One, who listens till the end. So take heart you trodden, by faith MOVE on Cause there is one who lends his ears. He moves in Love and Strength divine, to help us through our fears. He listens, and he hears. Proverbs 15:29 The LORD is far from the wicked but he hears the prayer of the righteous. Psalm 145:19 He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them.
