Resistance, Struggle
Push back, eat his Word, grow stronger, remain focused.
Some days are easier then other, some offer alot of resistence. Some days it feels like the struggle is too much, and that I will cave back into complacency. Are my dreams to large? Am I really considering such things?
The thing about resistence when your trying to have faith, is the confusing nature of the thing. Reasoning wisely, one must trust God through all situations. If resistence comes, how is one to distinguise whether that resistence is from God in opposition to your plan because your not hearing him, or if it is from the natural resistence that men of faith seems to go up against anytime they seek to trust God. So it seems that even the resistence must be met with faith in the character of God in relation to your place before him. This is a profound thought in consideration of the good news of Christ's victory over death. Our natural place before him was in rebellion, and we were enemys of God. In his perfect timing, and for the purpose of HIS glory, through of the perfect obedience of his son Yeshua, and because we share in HIS righteousness through faith, we can become inheritors in HIS blessing. We will inherit with him, because it is God's plan for him to have dominion, and thus authority. Because he has conquered and now sits in power with his father, we inherit that blessing though faith.
I think this natural difficulty spurs me to dig more deeply into the scripture. I havn't been doing the best job of that lately, but all things cycle. Sometime I let what I have learned over time sit with me, I feel like thats what I am going through now. I don't really know how all of this turns out for me personally, but I do know that I do want to be found in him. I wan't to be found in likeness to him, in likeness to his character. I wan't to be able to call him teacher and master, father and friend.
I feel risk in resting sometimes, because resting means the outcomes can change. I've wanted things badly before, but this one finds itself on another level. The outcomes and rewards are beyond my comprehension, and beautiful. Sometimes opposition represents opportunity to grow, and I like that. Being unified through hard work and diversity in the face of strong opposition can be quite a character builder for everyone involved. Therefore I have to seek God's will and have faith. There is on some levels an honest desire for such things, so they could become false idols. No matter what, always keep God at the center. I want to be aware of that, I want to keep God at the center.
