On Desire

Whats desire but the deepest fire that fuels life inside. Did we make ourselves, did we design this life? We breath, we see, we speak, we need We know, we sow, we hope, we show We claim, we blame, we try, we game Although we seek still some don't know Even for what purpose they go... So whats desire for the purpose of pleasure? May it never be desires true measure. May a true desire rise in Spirit and Speak in truth, as Desire shifts from us to You! Oh God Most High! Oh Lord, answer this prayer and provide the start, To shift desire to your deepest heart, To seek your will here on earth, To deny ourselves for eternal worth, That even one would know your name, Through desire changed to seek your fame! Would set afire our Spirits again! Praise God, the Lord most High! Amen.
